After much awaited anticipation, I am excited to announce a new cooperation that RKP is embarking on with the Zack Hinish Foundation!  A while back, Tami Hinish came to me with a problem to which many of us would not typically give any consideration: the difficulty families who have kids with disabilities often face when it comes to family and children's portraits.  We talked about how many families have tried, often in vain, to find a portrait experience that could take the special needs of their children into account.  From the familiarity of surroundings and sensory complications to physical "limitations" and everything in between, portrait sessions for families who have children with disabilities can often be a struggle.  I am proud to be partnering with an organization that is trying to change that and give families an enjoyable portrait experience, tailored to their children's needs.

Through funding provided by the Zack Hinish Foundation, our aim is to provide a high-end portrait experience to families who may not have otherwise had this opportunity.

Once approved by the foundation, RKP will set up a consultation to discuss the individual necessities of the children who will be photographed, tailoring every session location and portrait experience to each individual's needs.

In the very near future, I will be able to provide application information for this project.  Please stay tuned to the blog, and follow RKP and the ZHF on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In the meantime, please enjoy these images that I had the pleasure of making with the Brua and Hinish families.  In their own, unique ways, both portrait sessions were truly gratifying experiences for me, forever changing the way I look at this "job".  I am thrilled to be part of such a VERY... COOL... OPPORTUNITY!
